Chesed House was founded with a simple but powerful idea: to put loving-kindness into action. We saw a need in our community for a central hub of support, faith, and service. From a small group of volunteers to the community organization we are today, our 'why' has never changed: to serve Central Louisiana with an open heart.
Our mission is to strengthen the community by providing vital support, fostering youth mentorship, and creating opportunities for faith-based service, all from a central, welcoming home.

We're Proudly Located "On The Rue"
To better serve our community, Chesed House is strategically located inside the B22 Sports Complex. This partnership places us at the true hub of local life, making our services more visible, accessible, and integrated than ever before.
While we are a proud partner 'On The Rue,' Chesed House is an independent 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is our own, and every donation goes directly to our community programs. Our home at B22 simply gives us the perfect foundation to carry out that mission.
